What will your MVP actually cost?

Thirteen questions about your platform, features, user roles and integrations. You get a build-hour estimate for both no-code and conventional development, emailed to you — no call, no pitch.

How this estimate is calculated

Every option in the estimator carries an hour weight drawn from how long that feature has actually taken us to build. Authentication methods, user roles, payment flows, integrations and hosting each contribute independently, because in practice they scale independently — adding a second user role costs far more than adding a second auth method.

The comparison figure applies a 5× multiplier to represent the same scope built conventionally. That multiplier is a planning heuristic, not a measured constant: it holds well for standard CRUD-and-dashboard products and understates the gap for applications that lean heavily on off-the-shelf integrations.

What the estimate deliberately excludes: ongoing platform fees, third-party service costs, content and data migration, and post-launch iteration. Those are real costs, but they vary enough between projects that folding them into a single number would make the estimate less useful, not more.

Common questions

How much does it cost to build an MVP in 2026?

Most MVPs land between 200 and 600 build hours. A single-role app with authentication, a dashboard and one payment integration typically sits near the lower end; a marketplace with two-sided roles, messaging and payouts sits near the upper end. The estimator prices your specific feature set rather than quoting a range.

How long does it take to build an MVP without code?

A focused no-code MVP usually ships in 4 to 12 weeks. The largest variables are the number of user roles, whether you need real-time features like chat, and how many third-party integrations are involved — each integration adds meaningful scope beyond the feature itself.

Is no-code cheaper than traditional development?

For an MVP, generally yes. Our estimator shows both figures side by side: the same scope built conventionally typically runs about five times the build hours. The gap narrows as an application matures, which is why some products eventually graduate to custom code.

Which platform should I build my MVP on?

It depends on what happens after launch. Bubble suits data-heavy applications with complex logic and multiple user roles. Lovable and Bolt generate exportable code, so you keep the option to move to a custom stack. Replit is fastest to a working prototype but couples your database, authentication and hosting to their platform.

Does the estimate include design?

Yes. Design is a selectable step: template-based, fully custom, or custom with advanced animation. Each carries its own hours, because design effort scales independently of feature count.

Is the estimate binding?

No — it is a planning tool, not a quote. It reflects the same hour model we use internally to scope work, so it is a realistic starting point, but a fixed price requires a conversation about your specific requirements.
